Photographers of Ontario
This section will concentrate on Photographers of Ontario from the 1840's to the 1940's.
Specifically, it will show Cabinet Photo stampings and attempt to date the photos from these logos.
For individual photographers from each area, data will be taken from newspaper ads, city directories, family research, as well as relying on contributions from photography clubs across Ontario.
A number of inclusions will come from the LACLibrary & Archives Canada, 395 Wellington Street, Ottawa in Ottawa.
Hopefully, local museums and historical societies will see the value in creating a more accurate representation of the photographic history of the province than is currently available.
Especially since it is a free resource for users.
