Obituary: See Obit

Still is shown in the 1871 Mono Twsp census still living at home, parents James & Janet. Although he opens business in June, he was still listed as a farmer in the April census.

Still became a partner with J Campbell in the firm Still & Campbell and opened by June, 1871

He arranged an ad under his own name on June 23 1872, essentially saying the partnership was dissolved.

Apparently, he also ran a loan and insurance business in addition to a number of branches for photography, and was town mayor at the time of his death.

He was in business to December 26 1901 when he died. His son Elmer assumed control of the various business interests. (eventual fate of photo business unknown)
